THE RECORD
scripture, static, and the things we survived
INTERFERENCE
Alastor the Radio Demon is not a man easily swayed.
He is the one who weaves compliance into spellwork, who lures sinners with honeyed static and a smile sharp enough to cut.
Seven long years have passed since he last walked the streets of Pentagram City— since he last let his voice ride the radio waves. Restless, rotting with unused power, he braces himself for an eternity of tedium within Charlie Morningstar’s little redemption project.
Until he meets her.
A sinner whose power hums on a wavelength uncomfortably close to his own. Their threads cross. Curiosity curdles into covetous fascination. He tells himself it is the promise of combined power that draws him in.
Maybe it is.
Or maybe it is something far more dangerous.
